The knife industry is a tradition in Solsona, Spain that dates back to the sixteenth century. The company Pallarès was founded in 1917 and is now a third generation knife business hailing from the region, and the only remaining. They maintain the highest quality and standards which can be seen in their cutting edges and all blades are still sharpened by hand. Pallarès has managed to adapt to changing times without relinquishing its origins in the traditional knife-making craft of the town of Solsona.
Biome acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation (Burwood), Bundjalung, Yugambeh and Koombumerrii people (Southport), and Yuggera and Turrbul people (Meanjin / Brisbane) as the traditional owners and custodians of the land that we work on. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
