Designed and made in Brisbane, Söka Australia, was created by Nicole Gibson. She is a Registered Nurse Educator, Author of a parenting book, radio expert on raising children, college basketball coach and referee, and a busy mother of 4 children. Nicole has a commitment to sustainability through practical innovation, style, space saving, water saving, and detergent saving plus a focus of bringing organisation and sanity to laundry spaces. The Söka Tub has a primary use of separately soaking soiled, coloured and delicate clothing all in the one space saving bucket which allows for multiple detergent use. But is truly a multipurpose item with unlimited potential. Primarily designed around water-saving, it also reduces the amount of detergent used and offers space saving opportunities in the laundry along with increased laundry organisation.
Biome acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation (Burwood), Bundjalung, Yugambeh and Koombumerrii people (Southport), and Yuggera and Turrbul people (Meanjin / Brisbane) as the traditional owners and custodians of the land that we work on. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
