ETHIQUE Hydrating Conditioner Concentrate For Normal To Dry Hair 25g - Bloom. A salon quality conditioner for normal to dry hair in a dry-concentrate bar. Made with ingredients like fair trade cocoa butter and coconut oil and perfectly pH balanced for happy hair. To make, simply mix the concentrated bars with boiling water and you've got a fresh batch of foamy, colour-safe liquid conditioner, minus the plastic bottle! One box makes one bottle.

Features

the brand story:

Created in 2012 when founder, Brianne West, began making natural beauty bars, in her science degree lab, in response to the 80 billion plastic shampoo and conditioner bottles thrown out globally each year. Since then, Ethique™ (which is French for ethical) has grown out of a Kiwi kitchen into a fully-fledged, award-winning international beauty brand. To date we have stopped over 6 million plastic bottles from being made & disposed of into landfills. By 2025, they aim to hit 50 million.

Now, ETHIQUE are rethinking refillables with their world-first, patent-pending, range of Concentrates that was two years in the making. They provide the concentrated blocks and you provide the water! Each Concentrates bar saves 700ml of water and one plastic bottle from manufacture and disposal into landfill. Only 9% of all plastic ever made has been recycled, and the products in them are typically made up of 70-95% water. But ETHIQUE get it, not everyone likes bars.

    Ethique Hydrating conditionerConcentrate

We've been using this conditioner for about 4 years now; still using the same old plastic bottle. This is a great conditioner, gentle on your scalp, not overpowering in smell. I enjoy making it up in my kitchen. It takes a couple of minutes, then cooling time (20 mins) I grate it first then stir with a whisk before bottling. Easy!

    Easier for kids

Both the shampoo and conditioner are easy to make us and create a smooth consistency of product. We use them both continuously and refill the same bottles.

This is much easier for my young son that the solid bars- but still saves on plastic packaging.

    Great plastic free conditioner

Nice smell and feel. A little effort required to get the bar to dissolve. Might try Ethique conditioner powder next time.
