JuJu Menstrual Cup Model 4 - Clear. A convenient, economical and eco-friendly alternative to disposable menstrual products. A menstrual cup is used like a tampon, but collects rather than absorbs menstrual flow. A cup holds three times more fluid than tampons and pads, so it can generally be worn for twice as long as you would wear a tampon or pad for. Model 4 is better suited to shorter vaginal canals or a low cervix.

instructions:

It normally takes several menstrual cycles to learn to use the cup, but some women get the hang of it right from the start. Please read the comprehensive instructions sent with the cup carefully.
Sterilise the cup in a large amount of water according to instructions provided. The cup should be in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Let the water come back to room temperature before removing.
With washed hands, fold the cup in half, and then in half again. Make sure the round side of the ‘c’ is facing up.
Guide the folded end into the vagina past the pubic bone and then allow to open fully.
To remove, break the seal by squeezing the bottom/grippy part of the cup and pull down, hold upright to avoid spilling the contents. Never pull the cup down by the tab in an open position. Make sure to always break the seal. Discard contents in the toilet.
Rinse the cup in cold water, then wash carefully in hot water with mild and perfume-free washing liquid or soap, and re-insert it. From time to time it is okay to wipe the cup with toilet paper.
Wash your JuJu cup carefully after its last use during your period and store it, properly ventilated, in its storage bag.
NOT to be used during post-natal bleeding due to the vagina being inflamed from childbirth.
You may also like to use reusable pads as a backup for heavy flow days.

sizing:

While there are no hard and fast rules for selecting a size, model selection is generally based on childbearing history. Many other factors, such as anatomy, age, and pelvic floor tone may also influence your cup size selection.

The following is a guide to selecting a suitable model;

Model 1: Under 30 years of age and have not given birth
Model 2: Over 30 years of age or have given birth
Model 3: For a high cervix or long vaginal canal
Model 4: For a low cervix or short vaginal canal

The Model 4 is better suited to shorter vaginal canals as it has a shorter body and stem compared with other JuJu Models. Only choose this model if you are sure you have a low cervix throughout your cycle as the removal of this cup may be more difficult if you have a normal to high cervix. In most cases, the Model 4 is not recommended for young girls or virgins. If you have lost some pelvic floor tone and have a low cervix, you may wish to consider a Model 4.

Consult a GP prior to using this product if you;

have any health, medical or gynaecological concerns
are using an Intrauterine Device (IUD)
have experienced Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS)

We are shipping orders in 3 to 4 working days. Express orders placed by 1pm AEST Mon-Fri are sent same day.

45 day returns: If you are not satisfied with a product that you ordered online (*exceptions below), you are welcome to return it to us within 45 days, unused, unworn, and in a pristine saleable condition with the original labels attached, packaging and we will refund your cost of goods. Items marked 'Final Sale' can not be returned unless faulty. *except skin and body care, makeup, food, underwear, earrings, and custom order items, which can not be returned for change of mind.

Standard: Once the order has shipped, it will arrive in 2 to 7 days depending on your destination.

Express: only for orders up to 4kg and excludes bulky/heavy items.

Heavy/Overwight Orders: Order overs 5kg in weight will attract a $5 extra weight surcharge.
