Bonikka is a family of handmade fabric dolls that are inspired by a precious heirloom doll passed down for generations in a Sri Lankan family. The name Bonikka means "doll" in the Sinhalese dialect, and reflects the cultural heritage and craftsmanship of these toys. Bonikka dolls are ethically produced from quality materials, and are designed to be cuddly companions and special keepsakes for children of all ages. Bonikka also supports an orphanage in Sri Lanka with a portion of their sales.
Biome acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation (Burwood), Bundjalung, Yugambeh and Koombumerrii people (Southport), and Yuggera and Turrbul people (Meanjin / Brisbane) as the traditional owners and custodians of the land that we work on. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
