The Scenic Route is the creative project of artist and designer Victoria McGrane, who lives and travels around Australia in a converted, self contained 1990 Toyota Coaster. The name The Scenic Route reflects Victoria's personal and creative philosophy; Her love of nature is evident in her detailed botanical drawings. “Choosing the path less travelled, slowing down, enjoying the journey and appreciating the scenery – “taking the scenic route” – is the basis for the inspiration behind my designs.”
Biome acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation (Burwood), Bundjalung, Yugambeh and Koombumerrii people (Southport), and Yuggera and Turrbul people (Meanjin / Brisbane) as the traditional owners and custodians of the land that we work on. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
