TOG Guide: Love to Dream

TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade and is an industry-recognised measurement for the warmth of garments and bedding. Put simply: The lower the TOG rating, the lighter the fabric. The higher the TOG rating, the warmer the fabric.  Below are guidelines around how to dress your baby/toddler based on the room temperature. This is only a guide. The number of clothing layers may vary according to a baby's health, their physiology & the temperature in the room.

0.2 TOG (24-27°C)

Products with a 0.2 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 24-27°C.

 

1.0 TOG (20-24°C)

Products with a 1.0 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 20-24°C.

 

 

2.5 TOG (16-20°C)

Products with a 2.5 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 16-20°C.
