Bridget Farmer is a printmaker whose delicate bird-inspired artworks celebrate Australia’s vibrant avian life while honouring the land they inhabit. Living and working on Dja Dja Wurrung country in Victoria, Bridget embraces a slow, thoughtful approach to art—one that values craftsmanship, curiosity, and care for the environment. Her work reflects a deep respect for nature, using traditional printmaking techniques and repurposed tools from her jewellery-making days. By drawing inspiration from native birds and acknowledging the traditional custodians of the land, Bridget’s art becomes a quiet act of sustainability—inviting us to observe, appreciate, and protect the world around us
