This Japanese deep exfoliation mitt is perfect for removing dead skin and keratin build-up, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth.

Most of the dirt on your body can be washed off with just hot water and motion.

The Sasawashi body scrub towels do not break down sebum like soap surfactants do, but simply absorbs excess sebum with the gentle oil-removing action.

Kumazasa fibre is naturally antibacterial and when combined with Washi paper, the resulting fabric becomes soft and durable, absorbing twice as much water as a plain cotton.  Its antibacterial properties also help prevent unpleasant odours. 

Sasawashi fabric is made by blending Kumazasa fibres grown in the cool highlands of Japan, with Washi paper. Washi is strong, durable and water-resistant used in traditional Shoji slidding doors keeping homes cool in summer and warm in winter. A sheet of these blended fibres is then slit into long strings of yarn, twisted together to machine weave or knit Sasawashi yarn and fabric.
