Sasawashi Body Scrub Mitten - Red Stitch

Double-sided Japanese exfoliating body mitt is perfect for removing dead skin and keratin build-up, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth. 

Designed to be used without soap.  Some soaps can make your skin cracked and itchy, especially in dry weather.  Liquid body washes contain surfactants, and some commercial soaps contain fragrances and other drying additives, so it is easy to over-wash.

Most of the dirt on your body can be washed off with just hot water, and that people today tend to wash too much.

Using a exfoliating glove like this does not break down sebum like surfactants do, but simply absorbs excess sebum with the gentle oil-removing action.

Use in the bath or shower, or wet and use after sport and outdoor activities to 'towel off" sweat and refresh the skin.

Kumazasa fibre is naturally antibacterial and when combined with Washi paper, the resulting fabric becomes soft and durable, absorbing twice as much water as a plain cotton.  Its antibacterial properties also help prevent unpleasant odours. 

Sasawashi fabric is made by blending Kumazasa fibres grown in the cool highlands of Japan, with Washi paper. Washi is strong, durable and water-resistant used in traditional Shoji slidding doors keeping homes cool in summer and warm in winter. A sheet of these blended fibres is then slit into long strings of yarn, twisted together to machine weave or knit Sasawashi yarn and fabric.

Wash off any oil or dirt on the mitten with soap and water.
Can be machine washed inside a net bag.
Wash separately from coloured items.
Do not use bleach.
